Game was a defensive gem, Billy Hartman threw 6.2 strong innings, giving up 5 hits striking out 6 and giving up any earned runs, Bryce Allen came on to get the last out with the bases loaded. Bradley Flam made his varsity debut at first base and looked like he had always played there, he also knocked in the first run. Ryan Hartman caught and in the seventh inning with the tie run on third, he blocked 3 pitches in the dirt.
