FRANKLIN PULLS AWAY FROM WESTERN TECH

Junior Durant Harbin scored 21 points and Mike Wilner added 14, leading Franklin High past Western Tech, 64-52, in a Baltimore County boys’ basketball contest Wednesday evening.

Lavoi Wildner contributed 10 points for the Indians, who outscored Western Tech, 37-25, over the final 16 minutes. Donzel Mooney led all scorers with 23 points for Western Tech, and junior Chris Grant had 12. Franklin converted 36 of 53 free throws attempts, compared to 7-for-20 for the Wolverines.
